The Gasquet Method is an approach that was established by Dr. Bernadette de Gasquet, a French female doctor, to work on Perinet (pelvic floor muscles) through posture and breathing. Dr. Gasquet believes that protecting the perineum throughout a woman's life will help prevent pelvic problems such as urinary incontinence and uterine prolapse. The Gasquet method provides care for the pelvic floor muscles, urinary incontinence, and back pain. Currently, it is the only facility in Niigata Prefecture that has Gasquet Method-certified personnel.
